Located near the center of Cobb County and 20 miles northwest of Atlanta, Marietta is the county's largest city and one of Atlanta's largest suburbs. Home to the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, Marietta is a historically rich city.

The Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park preserves a Civil War battleground and also contains Kennesaw Mountain.
