Wendell is a town in Wake County, located in the northeast central region of North Carolina, founded in the 1850s. It was named after the poet, Oliver Wendell Holmes, and its historic downtown is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Wendell is a charming town with friendly people, gorgeous natural preserves, weekly Farmer’s markets and is an overall incredible place to live.
